Sandra (Sandy) Berg, loving mother, sister, and friend passed away unexpectedly on September 1,2022, near her home in Caledonia, IL. She was 68 years old.

A graduate of National College of Education in Evanston, IL- Sandy's love for children led her to live the life of an educator. She spent much of career as both an elementary and Sunday school teacher. A lifelong member of Bethesda Covenant Church in Rockford, IL. Sandy was a devout Christian whose kindness was evident from the moment you met her. Her caring heart extended past people as she loved animals, particularly dogs and cats, one in the same. She consistently cared for multiple pets at once, many of which were rescued.
 
Sandy is survived by her children, Jordan (Cristal) Padron and Sarah Padron, and her brother, Jeff (Pat) Berg. A visitation with family will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 4 p.m. - 4:30 PM at Bethesda Covenant Church in Rockford, IL, with a memorial service to follow.
