Jack Allen Nimtz of Windermere, Florida passed on Monday, August 10, 2020 at the age of 66.

Jack was born on August 30, 1953 to Raymond W. and Alma E. Nimtz in Belvidere, Illinois. He was married to Julie Johannes Nimtz on December 18, 1976 at the Presbyterian Church in Belvidere, Illinois.

He was a graduate of Kishwaukee Community College (1974) and a current student at Capella University.

For many years Jack worked in the farming industry and he was also employed at the Illinois Toll Authority and operated his own painting and decorating business before moving to Florida in 2009.

Until his death, he worked for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts as a Friendship Boat Captain. This was an experience he very much enjoyed. He genuinely loved training the college program students and interacting with the guests.

Jack is survived by his spouse Julie, daughter Shari (Phil) Sulser of Illinois, granddaughter Alexis Sulser and grandson Samuel Sulser. Also surviving are his sister Janis Nimtz of Illinois, brothers James (Sherrie) Nimtz of Illinois and Jeff (Julie) Nimtz of Wisconsin.

He is predeceased by his parents Raymond and Alma Nimtz.

Private burial will be held at a later date.
